leaving no trace. Meditating on his image,
I lose all fear of disgrace.

About The poem:
lalon Shah was a mystical poet who wrote hundreds of Bengali folk song throughout his life. In this song he talks about the divine longing that he is craving for or every other individual who tried to unite or associate with his creator. Here the man of his heart is the beloved soul of divine. The yearning of every other individual to meet his divine soul has been portrayed here.

লালন শাহ বাংলার এক প্রসিদ্ধ লোকগীতিকার, তিনি রচনা করেছেন কয়েক শত গান। তার গানের কথায় আধ্যাত্মিক বিষয়বস্তু গুলি উঠেছে বারংবার। আর এই গান “মিলন হবে কত দিনে” তার ব্যতিক্রম নয়। প্রত্যেক মানুষই এটা আশ্রয় চায়, সে খুঁজে বেড়ায় তার অন্তর্যামী কে।তাই এখানে লালনশাহ তার অন্তর্যামী কে তার মনের মধ্যে দেখতে পেয়েছেন এবং আর সঙ্গে মিলনের জন্য অপেক্ষা করে যাচ্ছেন। কবে মিলন হবে সেই নিয়ে তিনি ব্যাকুল। বারবার যেন তাকে ধরা দিয়েও দিচ্ছেন না তাই আর অস্থিরতা ক্রমবর্ধমান।

আকার ও আকৃতি: গরু একটি চার পা ওয়ালা প্রাণী। উচ্চতায় এটি তিন চার হাত এবং দৈর্ঘ্য পাঁচ ছয় হাত হয়ে থাকে। গরুর দুই চোখ, দুই কান, দুই শিং,একটি দীর্ঘ মাথা এবং পিছনে একটি লেজ থাকে। গরুর সারা শরীর ছোট এবং ঘন লোমে আবৃত থাকে। গরু লাল,কালো, সাদা ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন রঙের হয়ে থাকে এবং বিশ্বের সবজায়গায় পাওয়া যায়।
খাদ্য: গরু একটি তৃণভোজী প্রাণী। ঘাস খড় গাছের পাতা গরুর প্রধান খাদ্য। তাছাড়াও ভাতের ফ্যান শুকনো দানা জাতীয় খাবার খেয়ে থাকে।
উপকারিতা: আমাদের জীবনে গরুর উপকারিতা অসীম। গরুর দুধ অত্যন্ত সুস্বাদু এবং পুষ্টিকর। এই দুধ থেকে দই ছানা মাখন কি ইত্যাদি নানারকম দ্রব্য তৈরি করা হয় যেগুলি স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য খুবই উপকারী।আমরা আমাদের জমি চাষ করতে ষাঁড় বা বলদ ব্যবহার করে থাকি।পণ্য পরিবহনের জন্য গরুর গাড়িও ব্যবহৃত হয়। তাছাড়াও কৃষি ক্ষেত্রে গরুর গোবর একটি উত্তম সার হিসাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়।
উপসংহার: গরু নানা গুণ থাকা সত্ত্বেও গরুর প্রতি আমরা যত্নশীল নই। গরুর উপকারিতার দিকে চেয়ে আমাদের সবাইকে গরুর প্রতি সদয় হওয়া দরকার।গরু পালনে আমাদেরকে উৎসাহিত হওয়া দরকার তাহলে নানাভাবে উপকৃত হওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আর্থিকভাবে লাভবান হতে পারব।

About the poem :
The poem as the title suggests, is about a village. The harmonious and beautiful character of a Bengal village has been portrayed in these lines. Here the villagers lives in harmony, they support each other. And moreover the village is fully blessed with natural delight. it seems that even the plants and trees lives in harmony. I caught a glimpse
of my Dark Lord a dream,
and then he was gone
like a flash of lightning
vanishing into the cloud it came from,
leaving no trace.
Meditating on his image,
I lose all fear of disgrace.
Poor Lālan says,
He who always loves
knows.
About The poem:
lalon Shah was a mystical poet who wrote hundreds of Bengali folk song throughout his life. In this song he talks about the divine longing that he is craving for or every other individual who tried to unite or associate with his creator. Here the man of his heart is the beloved soul of divine. The yearning of every other individual to meet his divine soul has been portrayed here.

লালন শাহ বাংলার এক প্রসিদ্ধ লোকগীতিকার, তিনি রচনা করেছেন কয়েক শত গান। তার গানের কথায় আধ্যাত্মিক বিষয়বস্তু গুলি উঠেছে বারংবার। আর এই গান “মিলন হবে কত দিনে” তার ব্যতিক্রম নয়। প্রত্যেক মানুষই এটা আশ্রয় চায়, সে খুঁজে বেড়ায় তার অন্তর্যামী কে।তাই এখানে লালনশাহ তার অন্তর্যামী কে তার মনের মধ্যে দেখতে পেয়েছেন এবং আর সঙ্গে মিলনের জন্য অপেক্ষা করে যাচ্ছেন। কবে মিলন হবে সেই নিয়ে তিনি ব্যাকুল। বারবার যেন তাকে ধরা দিয়েও দিচ্ছেন না তাই আর অস্থিরতা ক্রমবর্ধমান।

আমাদের ছোটো গাঁয়ে ছোটো ছোটো ঘর
থাকি সেথা সবে মিলে কেহ নাহি পর।
পাড়ার সকল ছেলে মোরা ভাই ভাই
একসাথে খেলি আর পাঠশালে যাই।
হিংসা ও মারামারি কভু নাহি করি,
পিতা-মাতা গুরুজনে সদা মোরা ডরি।
আমাদের ছোটো গ্রামে মায়ের সমান,
আলো দিয়ে বায়ু দিয়ে বাঁচাইছে প্রাণ।
মাঠভরা ধান আর জলভরা দিঘি,
চাঁদের কিরণ লেগে করে ঝিকিমিকি।
আমগাছ জামগাছ বাঁশ ঝাড় যেন,
মিলে মিশে আছে ওরা আত্মীয় হেন।
সকালে সোনার রবি পূব দিকে ওঠে
পাখি ডাকে, বায়ু বয়, নানা ফুল ফোটে।
About the poem :
The poem as the title suggests, is about a village. The harmonious and beautiful character of a Bengal village has been portrayed in these lines. Here the villagers lives in harmony, they support each other. And moreover the village is fully blessed with natural delight. it seems that even the plants and trees lives in harmony. To conclude it could be said that Bande Ali miyan the poet tried to portray a beautiful and harmonious image of Bengal village.

There are small small houses at our small village
We live together, where no one is ‘others’
All boys here treat each other like brothers
We play and go to school together.
We don’t hate we don’t fight
We obey our parents and teachers
Our small village is like our mother
Saves our life by light and air.
Fields are full of paddy, Lakes are full of water
get shine with moonlight
Here even Mango, berry and bamboo
are lives like relatives
Every morning the golden sun rises in the east
Birds sing, air flows and flowers get bloom.
