Nongovernmental Organization
বাংলাতে এটিকে বেসরকারি সংস্থা বলা হয়। সংক্ষপে এনজিও (NGO) বলা হয়। এনজিও জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিকও হতে পারে যা স্বাধীনভাবে এবং অলাভজনকভাবে সেচ্ছ্বায় মানুষের সেবা করে থাকে। এমন সংস্থাগুলোতে সরকার কর্তৃক নিয়ন্ত্রণের বাইরে কাজ করে থাকে। যদিও কিছু কিছু সংস্থায় সরকার দ্বারাই অর্থায়ন করা হয়।
