ভারতবর্ষ
শমীন্দ্র ভৌমিক
এখানে তিনটে ওখানে তিনটে
সেখানে তিনটে ঢেউ।
এই তল্লাটে তারা ছাড়া আর
মনিষ্যি নেই কেউ।
হরে রে রে রে রে চিৎকার শুনে
সবাই পগারপার।
কেবল একটা হাবাগোবা ছেলে
নাম ভুলে গেছে তার।
তার দু চোখের দৃষ্টি কেমন
স্বপ্নের মতো নীল।
আমির খানের মুখের সঙ্গে
একটু রয়েছে মিল।
সবাই ধরল, মারল, বলল
বল জয় সিয়ারাম।
ছেলেটা বলল, রবীন্দ্রনাথ
নজরুল ইসলাম।
আরো একদল বলল, বল তো
আল্লাহ আকবর,
ছেলেটা বলল, ডিরোজিও আর অতীশ দীপঙ্কর।
সবাই ধরল মারল বলল
কোনখানে তোর ঘর?
ছেলেটা বলল : ভারতবর্ষ।
সরবমতির চর।
