সঙ্গিনী – শঙ্খ ঘোষ
হাতের উপর হাত রাখা খুব সহজ নয়
সারা জীবন বইতে পারা সহজ নয়
এ কথা খুব সহজ, কিন্তু কে না জানে
সহজ কথা ঠিক ততটা সহজ নয় |
পায়ের ভিতর মাতাল, আমার পায়ের নিচে
মাতাল, এই মদের কাছে সবাই ঋণী ––
ঝলমলে ঘোর দুপুরবেলাও সঙ্গে থাকে
হাঁ-করা ওই গঙ্গাতীরের চণ্ডালিনী |
সেই সনাতন ভরসাহীন অশ্রুহীনা
তুমিই আমার সব সময়ের সঙ্গিনী না ?
তুমি আমায় সুখ দেবে তা সহজ নয়
তুমি আমায় দুঃখ দেবে সহজ নয় |
English Transliteration:
Hater upore haat rakha khub shohoj noy
Shara jibon boite para shohoj noy
E kotha khub shohoj, Kintu ke na jane
Shohoj kotha thik totota shohoj noy.
payer vitor matal, amar payer niche
matal, Ei moder kache shobai rini
Jholmole ghur dupur bela o shonge thake
Ha kora oi ganga tirer chondalini.
Shei shonaton bhoroshahin osruhina
tumi e amar shob shomoyer shongi na?
Tumi amay shukh debe ta shohoj noy
Tumi amay dukkho debe shohoj noy.
